Travel Challenges

In 2 Corinthians Paul wrote, “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” (2 Corinthians 4:17).

On June 3rd, three of our team arrived in Antananarivo two days later than originally planned. The delays were caused by airplane mechanical issues that led to two missed flights and being re-routed through South Africa. At this time the team’s luggage is still missing.

While all of this is not what we wanted or planned, it is nothing more than an inconvenience.

The team learned perseverance which comes through trials. Paul wrote, "Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." (James 1:4).

The team learned to keep all things in perspective knowing that God “is able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine.” (Ephesians 3:21).

And the team was once again reminded to “trust in the Lord with all your heart”. (Proverbs 3:5).
