Bible Schools

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.  Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Luke 10:2).

Manasoa Bible School students. This is one of three Bible Schools that FOMM supports.

Description of this Program:

The Bible schools are essential in the growth and nurture of the church in Madagascar.  They train catechists and evangelists to serve little village churches and to bring the gospel to areas not evangelized.  The Bible school students are younger men and women with limited schooling but who are eager to care for believers and share the message of Jesus Christ with those who have not yet heard the Good News.  Each Bible school has from 18 to 25 enrolled in the two-year training program.

Activities reports:

The Bible Schools supported through this program are:
    1) Manasoa Bible School in Southwest Madagascar
    2) Manantantely Bible School in Southeast Madagascar
    3) Mananovy Bible School in the South Central part of Madagascar.

All three of these schools are in the poorest region of Madagascar and financial support is very much needed.

Bible Schools - 4th Quarter Report 2023

The evangelists are eager to begin their ministry in the small villages after completing their studies.  Because of the poverty of the region and the evangelists are beginning their work in villages that have no believing community, funds are needed to support the evangelists and their families until there is a congregation formed and they are able to provide support.

Amount of request:

Annual support for the three Bible Schools in 2023 is:  $39,500.00
